Seeds, Seeds, and More Seeds

Last year, my youngest son (who will graduate from college this spring!) helped me start a garden. He did all the hard ground breaking work, I purchased and planted and we both looked after it with plenty of TLC. I was unsure of the timing of when to start plants indoors so I picked up some gardening books from the library a few weeks ago so I’d  be well prepared for my garden this year. Since then, it seems that everything has to do with seeds! Of course I purchased some and even planted some recently but that’s not all. I was given a book to read called ‘The Seed’, a novel by Tempe Brown. http://amzn.to/x1OU0C  This book is amazing and I highly recommend it! Now you have heard it said that things come in three’s, so here is the third; My pastor is, and has been for a few weeks, teaching on Seed. With reference to Jesus being the Seed (as does the book by Tempe Brown) and also about the parable of the sower who goes out to sow. Mark 4: 1-32  Again all about seed, good ground, not so good ground and how they all produce.

Jesus is always so good to teach us things that we can relate to and understand. So, right now it is seed time and I shall sow some seeds.

Above is Cat Grass is for my son’s cat. He has a lot of fur and hairballs so I hope this will help him.

These were all planted on Feb 3rd and so far, the cat grass is about an inch high and the cilantro just poked through.  In the mean time, I will keep on sowing!
